Strategic planning defines your organization’s goals and capabilities in a format that allows you to track progress over time and assess the need for change. Community Asset Builders, LLC has conducted strategic planning sessions with organizations in a variety of disciplines within Missouri, primarily working with nonprofit organizations and statewide associations. Our approach is to work with a leadership team to develop a plan that is outcome-based and action-oriented. From the outset, the plan is built with evaluation measures, target dates, and organization accountability.

Our staff work with your leadership team throughout the planning process, involving staff, boards, community leadership and key stakeholders in the process through surveys, focus groups, prioritization processes and presentation. Community Asset Builders, LLC stresses ongoing communications, collaboration and follow-up. The leadership team is kept apprised of the planning process through email communication, on-site planning sessions, telephone conferences and mailings of drafts for review. At the end of the planning process, a professionally developed report is presented to the organization for distribution, website posting and for future planning purposes.

Community Asset Builders, LLC has been conducting strategic planning with non-profit organizations for more than ten years and has helped many organizations achieve levels of success they had not anticipated (i.e., accreditation, grant funding, etc.) The logic model used for strategic planning was designed by Community Asset Builders, LLC and has met with great success by non-profit organizations throughout Missouri. The model is outcome- and action-based and is designed to link goals, objectives, strategies and activities to outcomes, while measuring performance and processes over time.
